SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION EAST SAC COUNTY SCHOOLS East Sac County Schools, with an approximate enrollment of 950 learners, is seeking an exemplary educational leader to serve as Superintendent starting July 1, 2010. The respective boards of education are seeking candidates with high integrity, outstanding leadership qualities, and a strong focus on student achievement. Completed applications must be received no later than Monday, February 22, 2010. This vacancy is due to the retirement of Barb Kruthoff. Barb has successfully served the Wall Lake View Auburn school district as superintendent since July of 2002. She has successfully served as superintendent of East Sac County Schools since July of 2007. THE SCHOOL DISTRICT: East Sac County Schools is in their third year of whole grade sharing. The district is made up of the Sac Community School District and the Wall Lake View Auburn Community School District. On February 2, 2010 a public vote for reorganization will take place in East Sac County. The approximate enrollment is 950 students. Certified staff includes the following: • 76 teachers • 1 superintendent • 3 principals (K-4, 5-8, 9-12) The high school is located in Lake View and the middle school is located in Sac City. There is a PK-4 attendance center in Wall Lake and a PK-4 attendance center in Sac City.
